Silverdale: A Purpose Driven Church God has been continually teaching us at Silverdale Baptist Church to become complete and balanced in our lives and church. When we studied The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, we learned that a balanced life and church contains five elements: Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Service, and Evangelism. When all five are in their proper balance we function to our God-given fullest potential. A complete Christian life is a life that puts into practice all the truths that we already know. As Peter Lord said, "How we live is actually who we are as a Christian. Everything else is religious jargon." |
