Marriage Matters Ministry

In this study, The DNA of Relationships, Dr. Gary Smalley exposes a destructive relationship dance that characterizes nearly every relationship conflict, and he offers five new dance steps that will revolutionize relationships.  This study will be held on Sundays at 11a in the Shephard's House on the Bonny Oaks Campus beginning June 4 and is led by Joe & Stephanie Toombs.

Moms Embracing Hope

Finding Strength and Hope on the Journey of Raising a Child with Special Needs.

This class is facilitated by Sandy Shadden and class will cover a specific topic or study to give strength and hope for moms on the journey of raising a special needs child.

This class is for anyone raising other family members' children.  You will find hope and direction to help you face this new and unexpected adventure in parenting.

Parenting Pathways

This parenting series encompasses the entire lifespan! Parenting Pathways is a revolving series of classes that focus on specific seasons of life.  Each series is short-term, lasting between 4-6 weeks: “Fingerprints” (parents with babies through elementary age), “Generation Grounded” (parents of middle and high school youth), “Cornerstone” (parents of adult children), and “Giving Back” (for adults parenting their parents.) Each of these pathways is unique, rewarding, and challenging in its own way. However, each of these paths leads to the same goal: a life of godliness and righteousness. Financial Peace University (FPU)

Learn God’s ways of handling money with Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University! Through 9 weeks of video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you've dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!

DivorceCare will help you find joy, strength, and healing available to you in the midst of separation or divorce.  DivorceCare will affirm God's love for you.  You'll discover that the divorce process can be a powerful catalyst for good in your life, transforming your deep loss into meaningful growth with God.


2 to 1 Class

2 to 1 is our premarital counseling course offered to all couples that are engaged, recently married, or soon-to-be engaged.  This class includes advice from experts in the field of finance, relationships, roles of husbands and wives, conflict, communication and spiritual growth.  It also includes books, Prepare compatibility testing, mentors, an ice cream social, a paint and party activity, two dinners and $60 off your marriage certificate (if the wedding is in Hamilton County)!
