Prayer Ministry

The Most Valuable Prayers Ministry is to be a core group of believers who before and during each service lift up our pastor, staff, teachers, and congregation in prayer.  We believe the battle we fight is not of the flesh and blood, but of principalities and powers in high places which can only be conquered by God through the Holy Spirit in answer to the fervent prayers of His people.  We stand in the gap so that the Lord's will can be done in each service.

Matthew 6:6 tells us that when we pray, we should go into our room and shut the door.  Then we pray to our Father, who is in the secret place, and our Father, who sees in secret, will reward us openly.  The Upper Room is our church's 24-hour prayer ministry.  It offers that quiet place to sit at the feet of Jesus and to intercede for all.  Second Chronicles 7:14 states, "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins and heal their land."  Please e-mail your prayer requests to be placed in our prayer room.
