SBC Missions
Our missions ministries are organized around the ACTS 1:8 strategy: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.”

We believe that our Jerusalem consists of North Georgia, Hamilton County, portions of East Tennessee, and all of Chattanooga. We partner with numerous organizations in Chattanooga and Hamilton County to take the Gospel to all those who need to hear of the love of Jesus Christ. |
We believe that our Judea consists of the entire state of Tennessee. We have a partnership with Carson Springs Baptist in Newport, Tennessee, and we support the Golden Missions offering which helps fund other church plants across the state of Tennessee. We also have sent short-term mission teams to minister all across the state of Tennessee. |

Our Samaria ministry consists of working in partnership with other Great Commission believers to reach our nation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are partners with our North American Mission Board and are participants in their Strategic Focus Cities outreach. We have sent short-term teams to Boston, Massachusetts; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Idaho, and Texas.

Our Ends of the Earth outreaches have taken Silverdale Baptist Church to almost every continent on the face of the earth. We have had short-term teams in India, Russia, Honduras, Nicaragua, Australia, and Africa (Zimbabwe, Zambia, and South Africa). |
