SBC Missions

Our missions ministries are organized around the ACTS 1:8 strategy: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.”

Judea

We believe that our Judea consists of the entire state of Tennessee. We have a partnership with a church that was planted in the Newport, Tennessee area in 2003. We will be working with North American Mission Board Church Planters John and Jennifer Butler, former members here at Silverdale Baptist Church. We are excited about this opportunity to be involved in such a significant outreach in our Judea. Additionally, we support the Golden Missions offering, which helps fund other church plants across the state of Tennessee. Our other on-going partnership is with the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home.  We also have sent short-term mission teams to minister all across the state of Tennessee.
